Today was mockboards and it was awful. I saw my patient before and it went great. I didn't miss any spots. For the mockboard I cleaned the mandibular arch and I missed 9 spots. My day started out bad, I took x-rays and got into the dark room and found that the developer was off so I ended up waiting about 15 minutes so I lost 36 minutes of my scaling time. Then my patient was super sensitive and didn't want to get numb. It is hard to clean someone who is continually jumping. I learned some things and I am determined to pass my next mockboard.

It sounds like you ended up with a good experience. I doubt that the developer would cause you trouble on a real mockboard day. That is too bad. You do a good job with scaling and I doubt you will fail the real board.
