11/1 clinic

Today I met my goal from last time which was to practice anterior scaling. I didn't get to practice as much as I would have liked to, because I ran out of time. I didn't poke my pt when going around to the distal and mesial of the anteriors. We learned how to selective polish today and I still don't know how I feel about selective polishing. I understand that it removes tooth structure, but I brush correctly and I can feel a difference between brushing and polishing. Even when other peopole have brushed my teeth in clinic it still feels different. I guess I need to research it more. My goal for next time is to work on my anterior scaling again and also work on my posterior scaling.
